                                    Milkshakes

 

Milkshakes made with fruits, cereals and nuts is the wholesome and the quickest breakfast one can have in the hustle and bustle of morning hours.

 

Ingredients: 1 cup milk,1 large banana (any fruit of your choice),1 tsp sugar or honey ,1 tbsp cornflakes, 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder,8-10 raisins.

Method : Peel the banana and chop in pieces. Blend all the ingredients in a blender till smooth and frothy.

 

Variations :

-Use muesli and quick oats in the milkshakes. Add chocolate chips in the above recipe.

-Mix flavoured cornflakes

-Use dates, prunes to boost iron content of the milkshake.

-Fruits like apple, mango, chickoo, pears, orange, papaya can be used.

-Replace plain milk wih soya milk for health  benefits.

 

Milkshakes made prudently using more of fruits, nuts and various cereals is healthy and quick to make. It can keep one ticking for long during the  busy and hard times of the day.
